HYSTEROSCOPY (2) Bone Densitometry
almost a year since I performed hysteroscopy in April last year.
Everything has gone well since then. Analyses made on the "stuff" that I removed were positive in the sense that they have no signs of malignancy.
During these months, I followed with the controls and analytical rigor, and everything is perfectly fine. The results of my analysis can not be better.
Yesterday I went to the gynecological examination and it seems that my endometrium has gone to swell a little, but not in the same amount it did last time.
This time the thickness is 8mm. when optimal measure, would be 4 / 5 mm.
In any case, I see a little far reaching measures before the intervention, which became 14mm.
The doctor told me that this time would not do anything, we would expect to be closer to the end of treatment with tamoxifen. For two reasons. One is that with the first draw and we know the nature of the extracted material and type as this is benign, you do not run and so we avoid having to intervene every year.
The other reason is that as I am in a pre-menopausal, you may reach me at this time of menopause and in that case it seems most likely it was that changed me Tamoxifen for any other treatment.
Also in the unlikely event that I withdraw tamoxifen, it appears that there is a possibility that the endometrium alone and refer back to its normal thickness.
In all this one last point about my period, although it seems that my hormones are functioning "normally", a year ago that does not appear. There is no problem, but it is one of the effects of tamoxifen.
