This time I come to speak on a manga that started out of curiosity, but did not finish. Therefore it is in the opinion section rather than that of review.

For starters it's a classic, well in several respects. That is why you need to know what you're going, and you can find ... Yet curiosity itched. He knew what was in respect of the drawing, but really the argument has disappointed me greatly.
I bought it with the intention of having a classic, and obviously to complete the entire series (there are 4 volumes fat), but after you start reading the first volume (and all I have) I realized that it was very desist may complete the series. Still would not let me half the volume, as well as I thought it improved the thing ... but no, remained unchanged.
For if there is anyone who does not know, just say that this is a work of Osamu Tezuka (the father of the famous anime and manga. A classic among classics) that illustrates one of the most famous works of Chinese mythology ... The Monkey King, or rather Journey to the West. Work in which he also "inspired" Toriyama to create his most famous character (but the "inspiration" is very mild, we have little to do: D).
Everything was perfect for me to have interest in this work. I wanted to be a classic (Culturilla Otaku: P), this little volumes were 4 (or rather Tomazo) by Osamu Tezuka, and also had one of the most important Chinese legends, in which also underpinned the best manga of all time ... this work had to be mine.
And so it was with the first volume. But after reading it, I must say that I was bored. I was interesting or fun. There was curious to read the next page, and the final reading this manga became a mere formality. It was rather something like, "I started reading, then I'll finish the tome."
With respect to drawings, typical of Tezuka. You may like more or less (I particularly do not tell me anything) but it clearly has its own seal, unmistakable. Still, as I said, the picture and knew what it was like I was therefore no surprise.
The surprise (unpleasant, but surprised) came with the argument. An ancient history of China, a classic among classics ... Well, I'm bored enough, the truth: D.
The most interesting was to discover the inspirations of Toriyama. It was funny to see things like a pig that has the power to transform and who kidnaps young women of the village (even though this film all the characters unless the monk has become the gift) that was the character that underpin Toriyama to create Ulong. Fan also the history of magic, the cloud of Kinton, the magic wand, and the tail of Son Goku (in the original story was a monkey who wanted to become human, so also had a tail), and the name of the protagonist course.
But there ends any similarity between the universe of Toriyama and the original story (something that truly appreciate it). In summary
say I was pretty disappointed, and I'm not going to keep buying (and due to the thickness of the volumes, each one costs about 10 € so I do not compensate). I still think it's great that standard Clasca an opportunity, and not dare rule out a future with another classic, but this in particular I liked it enough.
